Wholesale DNS, DDoS and CDN
for carrier-grade networks.
Infrastructure built to operate at telecom scale. SLA-backed anycast DNS, multi-Tbps scrubbing, and content delivery engineered for carrier traffic volumes.
Wholesale DNS, DDoS, and colocation - carrier grade.
Telecoms networks operate at subscriber scale, face Tbps-class volumetric attacks, and require direct peering. WEDOS delivers all three as wholesale services.
Wholesale Anycast DNS
White-label Anycast DNS across 120+ PoPs. 3-17 ms resolution across Europe. Custom anycast configurations, DNSSEC, and dedicated resolver capacity at carrier volumes.
- Subscriber-scale resolver capacity
- DNSSEC + DDoS-resistant at resolver layer
- GeoDNS & traffic steering by ASN
Carrier DDoS scrubbing
Multi-Tbps scrubbing capacity via BGP diversion and GRE tunnel clean pipe delivery. On-demand or always-on. Protects your own network and your downstream customers' infrastructure.
- Multi-Tbps scrubbing capacity
- BGP diversion + GRE clean pipe
- On-demand & always-on modes
Network monitoring
Monitor uptime, latency, and availability of your services from 80+ global locations. Real-time alerts, public status pages, and SLA reporting built in.
- 80+ global monitoring locations
- Real-time alerts & public status pages
- DNS, SSL & uptime checks
Four requirements consumer-grade infrastructure fails to meet
Consumer-grade infrastructure breaks at carrier volumes. Telecoms networks operate at subscriber scale, with latency, availability, and capacity constraints that demand wholesale-grade infrastructure.
Subscriber-scale DNS capacity
Millions of subscribers mean billions of DNS queries per day. Consumer-grade resolvers introduce latency spikes at scale and fail under amplification attacks. Carrier-grade Anycast DNS requires dedicated resolver pools, 3-17 ms DNS resolution, and DDoS hardening at the query layer.
Tbps-class volumetric attacks
Carrier networks are prime targets for reflection amplification attacks that exceed 1 Tbps. Standard scrubbing services designed for enterprise traffic volumes saturate under carrier-grade attack sizes. Your scrubbing provider must have capacity headroom above peak attack traffic, by a significant margin.
BGP diversion without latency penalty
BGP-based scrubbing introduces latency if the scrubbing PoP is geographically distant from the attack target. Carriers require scrubbing infrastructure that peers directly, delivers clean pipe over GRE within the same region, and adds minimal round-trip latency for legitimate traffic.
Dedicated NOC access, not ticket queues
During an attack, minutes of degraded service affect thousands of subscribers. Carrier SLAs require direct NOC-to-NOC coordination, not a ticket queue - reachable at network speed.
Six capabilities for carrier-grade deployments
120+ Anycast PoPs
120+ PoPs deliver 3-17 ms DNS resolution across Europe. Dedicated resolver pools scale to carrier query volumes. DNSSEC enforced across all zones.
Multi-Tbps DDoS scrubbing
On-demand and always-on L3/L4 scrubbing at carrier scale. Handles SYN floods, UDP amplification, ICMP reflection, and DNS amplification attacks that exceed 1 Tbps peak. Capacity headroom maintained above historical peak attack sizes.
BGP diversion & GRE clean pipe
Traffic diverted via BGP announcement to WEDOS scrubbing PoPs, cleaned, and returned via GRE tunnel. Regional PoP selection minimises clean-pipe latency. On-net PoP option available for zero-latency delivery.
Real-time traffic filtering
Hardware-based filtering at line rate: no CPU bottleneck under load. ACL-based rules, rate limiting by ASN, and anomaly detection tuned to carrier traffic baselines. Zero legitimate traffic dropped during scrubbing.
EU colocation & direct peering
Colocate network equipment in data centres owned and operated by WEDOS with direct peering access to WEDOS scrubbing fabric. Eliminate transit hops between your network and clean-pipe delivery. On-net PoP option for dedicated carrier capacity.
Dedicated NOC access
Direct NOC-to-NOC coordination during attack events. 15-minute response SLA. Volume-based pricing with dedicated account management and monthly capacity planning reviews for carriers above threshold.
Why WEDOS for wholesale telecoms?
Most scrubbing providers are US-headquartered, routing your traffic through infrastructure subject to foreign legal oversight, with wholesale as an afterthought. WEDOS is built for network operators: EU-owned infrastructure, direct peering, carrier SLAs, and wholesale pricing that scales with volume.
EU-owned carrier infrastructure. EU governance, global reach.
